spaniard - well you got me.. i quit the smokes when i got a kid
i properly smoked because my parents both smoked, but when that is said..
beer and smokes go together
drinks and smokes go togehter
coffee and smokes go togetheri quit the coffee 6 months ago because i knew once i quit the smokes the coffee would never be the same again.. ever!
i'm not gonna quit drinking so when i drink i smoke..
and you are properly thinking..
well he is just gonna drink all the time now.. the answer is no
why? because a 6-pack of beer cost around 17$ in Iceland and a bottle of good whisky 120$!

i quit smoking 4 months ago because i had a heart palpitation. they had to stop my heart and start it again with electricity. although i don't it was entirely to do with cigs. more of a cigs/booze/drugs/fast food/lack of sleep/stress thing. anyway. i've been smoke free for a while and i must admt it feels fucking good. i've saved over 350 dollars since i quit!! the only time i'll have a smoke now is when i'm completely tits at the bar. but toronto's going to ban smoking in all bars by june so even that won't be a problem anymore.

that's cool jen, but I reckon that without coffee or cigs, I'd be permanently asleep. Which wouldn't actually be too bad...

After a few years the chemical joys of nicotine consumption dwindles into a tedious addiction. After a while you can feel the shit circulating through your bloodstream, blocking the traffic of oxygen like a granny driving a Pinto in the fast lane. You start feeling your organs working overtime desperately filtering out the toxins. There is always this dread you have when you light up that your physiology is in constant rebellion of this masochistic practice, yet the only audible protest is the hacking and weezing cough you suffer every 20 minutes which you usually disregard.
But smoking can also be an asset, especially if you have a good portfolio of suave gestures and poses you can perform with the tobacco prop. Leaning against a bar with whiskey in hand, puffing non-chalantly on your little burning piece of phallic symbolism really gets the chicks horny. That is until you open your mouth to speak and the poor girl gets blasted by the acrid, metallic smell of 10 years of tar consumption issuing from your pasty foul mouth. Or until she sees the two brown, tar stained tips of your index and middle finger that look as if they had been stuck up your ass all day.
So after weighing all of the factors, I have decided that smoking is definitely worth it.

I quit smoking three months ago. Well, not exactly, I keep smoking good substances from time to time ;D Anyways, I quit smoking tobacco after 18 or so years of smoking it on a daily basis, and it's one of the best things I could have ever done. I feel a lot better. First weeks it was Hell, I missed it too much, especially when I was at the computer and hanging around. But that phase is gone.
Tobacco sucks ass.
