why stop adobe the development for streamline???
which is an other program to vectorize??? what u prefer???

never used streamline, but flash does a pretty good job

what do you mean "big big files"? depends on your settings (if you vectorize each individual pixel then yes, of course).

sorry, this is new for me - only use streamline for vectorizing.

yep u are right... it depends on the settings, for the big files size! but i did the experience when i choose a loose setting, the result is not that good!!!
how is it in freehand...i never try this!

I suppose it's the same with any vectorization tool - you just have to fiddle with the settings till you get a good result.
I haven't used freehand but I could imagine that it's the same tool?

It is kind of disapointing that Adobe stopped streamline. But why not try tracing it your self?

Yeah... it's not really that hard to trace an image by hand.
If you have to maintain enough detail that it /is/ too hard, well, maybe it shouldn't be a vector graphic, then?

flash, freehand, illustrator all
suck! I was sad about adobe streamline until i realize that
corelTRACE 11 did a way better job than streamline. Way better!

be cool if they made it a plug-in for illustrator like how they took Adobe Dimensions and made it a effect in Illustrator CS. streamline always pissed me off though. flash is cool for it, but yeah, big ass files.
