this is now a fun one i think..i think, more often than not, it is all worse for dum white ones to do them all black mans hand and black mans arm moving and pointing. crossing arms and standing that way round. it is not so-oo good for real life white people! people around have being doing this(black man act) for a long time before! like in 80s after eddy murphy(comic from 80s=black man)-saying "get a fuck out a here?)

The thing is Mal, you're talking about how NT users type in PV-AN. I'm pretty sure people don't speak in the same manner that they type. It's just people picking up on how other people type and following suit. It's the same kind of thing that's happened with text messages... there's a completely different language that's evolved in the 'world' of texting... same thing seems to have happened in web forums/emails etc. ya get meh? Basically, the slang that people use on the web can be very different than the way that people talk in everyday life.

i see, more often than not people just mob me when i am talking on here(text) ,NT. i am not so-oo well known in english. and i am not a jive/black talker as that has more difficulties with it!

Here in amsterdam all the races mix. Whites are talking marocan, turkish, surinam, english mixed with dutch.
It makes me tired sometimes when I see a white girl talking like she's black.
Strange attitude. Being 'cool' is so much more then talking like your 'cool'.

I can't be arsed to read all these responses because i believe that in an intergrated culture you will have language crossover. What happens is that language develops and changes.
I know what the original post is trying to say, that people imitate accents that they believe represent a strata of society that they themselves would like to be part of or be associated with. I don't believe this is wrong, and is generally a pursuit of the younger generations (such as ourselves) as we try to find our identities.Nothing new in it either. Take people talking 'Mockney' or people trying to have good elecution so as they are pecieved as a higher class of society.
