573,
moved from chicago to SF last summer, but i'll be ridin' with a chicago buddy of mine in 2 weeks. perhaps i'll buy your deck and have him bring it out.
can you send some details/photo? and where you live in the chicago area (my buddy is in Evanston)?

yea I can take some pics of it, I live in downtown chicago...bit of a ways from evanston, and not sure about what kind of core it has etc, but I can look it up maybe, I know it has the "common" holes in it for most bindings, it can even use the tricky Burton binding pattern. I had burton bindings on it when I rode it. Only rode it like 5 times maybe? ohhh its a 2002. not much for graphics just says ride on the bottom...but who cares about graphics on a board

I'll third the notion that step-in bindins/boots do indeed suck.

sorry bro, just bought one...
Burton Jim Rippey 158.5 snowboard
Burton Mission SI step-in bindings
Burton Ruler SI Boots,
and Burton Travel Case 165used 4 times.
all for $375!
the boots might be tight, but if they don't fit i'll just sell em on ebay.
what do you think? i'm picking it up in an hour and will be ridin' this weekend in Tahoe. (next week in Copper and Aspen!)
aww yeah!
thanks for your help

i loved em in Tahoe last week. but if these are bad, i'll just sell em and get some new boots/bindings.

sounds liek you scored a pretty good deal there.
i don't know about the stepins...i can't even imagine putting those god awful things out.
if your boots have only been used 4 times and they're a bit tight then they fit perfect...you want the tips of your toes to just touch the tips of your boots when they're on...same fit as a hockey skates if you've ever worn those.
boots pack out over time so if you buy ones that fit perfect they won't fit for long.

Board: Option - Signature
Bindings: Burton Mission
Boots: ThirtyTwox-mas eve day - Copper Mt Colorado - suffered a separated shoulder. The mountain was mean that day, nearly recovered now and ready to hit it again

thats a sweet deal but you're gonna regret the step in's...

you need to get boots that fit perfectly or you will die onthe mountain when your toes are seriously black and blue and swolen.
mine are like a centermeter too big.. and thats what happens to me. you truely need a perfect fit. good luck
