I would , but this is the handle that I use to spout off ;). The cash I'm making now isn't all that impressive once taxes come into play. I have to get a fulltime job soon, freelancing is too hectic.

if you make 90-120k freelance... that figures out to about a rough 60% after taxes.. health care.. .Social Security .. etc.
So i guess im not that poor now that i think about it..

i make A$58k that includes my car. but i do up to $10k in freelance work. i work my tits off though.
thats australian dollars.

well its a combo of Insurace, taxes, social security, medicare... that rape you when you freelance.. thats why freelancers make like 2 times as much at the start...
if you have steady work.. you can make more than statying with a company.. if you have work on and off.. it will be alot harder even with the higher income

i dont feel comfortable posting my salary here, as other people from my work might be around.
lets just say.. i am not that poor.. and am getting by in the Bay area just fine
