mate I know what you are going through - working with politics like that is never fun - but it's your job as an interactive designer to make them understand the complexities of web design and standards compliance....
Just throwing something up like you ahve done, even though it looks and works great on IE6, PC, has probably done more harm than good - especially to those trying to view it on a mac - because they've not been given the full experience - and they have either gone away frustrated, or pissed off.
Neither of those is the impression your company wants to give out I am sure.
It is therefore part of your job to communicate this, and if it's not getting through, then maybe they're not the people you should be working for.

I can't see the nav but is it something you could do in Flash instead of dhtml? Users need Flash to see the site anyway so why not do it in Flash?

this thread is confusing
DCsign started out by stating that it was his company... and he was forced to make the intro. he also said he didn't design the site... but, he wants a critique.

I didn't take the time to read everyone's comments but i say:
A. I like the fade out. Very creative.B. The navigation is a bit confusing.
C. There is very little conent the way teh site is built. i would condense things a lot and make each page more useful and full of information.

your dhtml menu is cool - but honestly, who is going to really use it?
and the site looks nice.. but i'd maybe pick a nicer font for your text? it looks a bit crap at 1024x768

the dhtml menu does not turn the mouse into a little hand on rollover...i want my little hand...
ie 5 / windows 98 (my parents computer)
