Yeah, Itchi the Killer is suitably horrible. I do own the 'cut' version (europe) and felt a tad queezy... Japs are crazy.
If you want gore then check out...
"Riki-Oh: The Story Of Ricky"
http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/fil…Prolly one of the most gruesome films made. Manga crossover.
And don't forget these from Peter Jacksons closet -
"Braindead"
http://us.imdb.com/title/tt01038…"Bad Taste"
http://us.imdb.com/title/tt00926…Both as grim as each other. Mad that he could make B-movies like this and then go on to direct some of the most amazing films that have been made to date.*
*with the exception of screenplay dialogue** for all three LOTR films.
** Mind you, he was doing it for a worldwide audience. And the Americans.
Ok. I'll get me coat...

ah. finally a thread worth its weight in salt.
some greatshit mentioned already.
yet i must say, delicatessen = horror? i guess maybe . . . kinda?slumber party massacre is good fun. and prom night. muahahahaha.
ok but seriously, not pre 85 but worth your time for the avid horror fan:American Psycho (one of my favs)
Dog Soldiers (decent werewolf action)
Pitch Black (sci-fi horror)
House of 1000 corpses (nasty)
May (goddamn)
Sleepy Hollow (nice visuals not too gory though)
i am told that Frailty is a decent flick, though i havent seen it.cant forget children of the corn.
*never cared for amityville horror*
charleze theron is in a new flick called Monster. ive heard great things about it, but havent seen it out anywhere yet. i guess i need to look it up.

as stated before.
Nothin' but a Goth Thang____+
Nosferatu by F.W.Murnau is a masterpiece.

wow. that link for ichi the killer was fuckin wicked. i must have this movie.
- Hardcore0
yeah... its sick and wrong - but great at the same time.
But that Rikki-Oh is twice as bad.
*fetches bucket.
- Bitlounge0
Indeed, Unfit.
But I must admit that the remake by Werner Herzog, Nosferatu - Phantom der Nacht, is also admirable.
- whiteSneaks0
i believe it was made in 1990 but great none the less.
Nightbreed
and Hellraiser 1 & 2 are worthwhile

riki-oh sounds like fun, but it got a bunch of shitty reviews from horror fans. i'd love to watch it, but i dunno bout buying it.

hey Bio, good choice. It's fully sick. The ending's as random as they come.
Apparently there's a prequel to it, so i'll have a look for that.
If you like ichi the killer, you should buy Battle Royale. Equally sick.
