Jim, I really dig the jewelboxing thing. How is it going so far for you?
How many are you selling a week?
- JimCoudal0
We've been up for a little over a month and things have gone pretty well. We've shipped hundreds of 20packs so far and sold a lot of cases in bulk too. US, Canada, UK, Sweden, Iceland, Oz, France, Brazil, pretty much everywhere. Shipping overseas is expensive so we're looking into starting a distribution center in Europe after the first of the year. The important thing is we're learning a lot and having fun too

so i assume you are OEM the cases?

JimC,
Here's an idea for you!You know that car window tint that gives off the mirrored look. Well tint one jewel case with that.
-Just a thought would kind of be neat to see a reflective/mirrored type case on the shelves.

from paypalwarning.com :
"PayPal continues to hold my $600. Illegally.
Several months ago I was offering the general public a free copy of the popular OS called Linux 8.0. This is a freely distributable program under the general license agreement. The customer only had to pay for shipping. ($5.00 US dollars)
I had hundreds of people that responded to the offer and I delivered the program as offered and according to the law. PayPal sent me an e-mail saying that they were going to suspend my account unless I could provide proof that I had permission to distribute this software.
Well, I e-mailed them back several times and explained to them that I did programming on my own and would never consider distributing software that was against any law. PayPal said that I had to prove that I had permission from Microsoft to distribute the software. Microsoft has nothing to do with Linux. Linux has always been to my knowledge, a free OS."
OMFG!

I had big hassles with Paypal once... I had two paypal accounts and aparently that isnt allowed so without notice they froze both my accounts and wouldn't let me access either account to get my money out . To cut a long story short, it took about 6 weeks to get sorted, and I had to provide a tonne of paperwork to get either account open again.
Its a good service but if you get in a mess, their customer support is useless... don't think you can ever speak to anyone to resolve an issue.

after a number, 200 or so, transactions, paypal customers are given an account manager witha real name and number to call...
- Mick0
Sounds good about the account manager stuff but sux when you have over $1000 sitting in an account you can't access or speak to anyone about just because you've only made 50 transactions.
