just a shit scan turned into a .gif but there is a UPC code for selling at $29.99 for retailers. In fact there are those that appreciated that forethough:
thanks for your comments and Sushi you can do it man like this not a problem. People go for it and most of your sales are going to be in those 38 countries anyway so no props man.

yeah your right Jim if that's the case that's true which s-u-c-k-s in my book. PayPal is now owned by the Ebay lady and I am sure will improve with options in the future.

hey man, you know what, is that your product? I posted you here not too long ago. Go next door and search Jewelboxing. That is so entirely strange to meet you here. Because we were thinking about contacting you. :)

btw, jason, how are your sales goin with that system?
I'm considering a sign up on the service to sell some new things I got planned.

yeah wow, Jim that's nice work. Your prices are quite resonable. Let's put it this way fella's. Kodap, a friend and I paid $2K to get the production done on 1000 CDs. SO give or take $2 bucks each. There were some overruns so we actually got 1087 when it was all said and done. We sell it for $34.99 after S&H. So it's a about a $30 profit off of each CD-ROM after we mail them. Obviously there were many hours of both development and production. I guess it's all relative but still. The European market is actually much better for us. Have set up a Japanese retailer and obviously we want to sell in bulk to distributors and more retialers. etc. But even selling 3 to 4 per day is profitable at about an intake of an extra $120 to $150 per. :)

BTW, this was a total experiment, we figured well let's try something and have some people check it out and magazines review it and they did. We screwed a few things up and that's fine. We are human, but no way in hell we screw that up again. Next step is to support major sequencers and develop sounds for software apps such as what http://www.e-lab.se does. Same style we can produce for relative cheapness.

Cool, if you want 1K cases, you can get 'em cheaper. if anyone else here wants to try Jewelboxing, I just posted a special page. Buy a 20pack today (12/13/03) and we'll knock ten bucks off the price.

no seriously, Jim I will keep you in mind for sure. We want something more sturdy than Digipaks. We were thinking about going with Burgopak.com out of UK but not sure yet. Next CD-ROM is called Born-2-Loop supporting .rx2 files for Reason, Cubase and Logic. blah, blah thanks man :)
- JimCoudal0
just let me know if you need a sample or anything.

I'll do that, we are looking at a March Deadline for the next two products we want to put out. The thing is we would probably have to provide you with the actual CDs as well or have the produced by some other means.

Tht's really nice, good luck for you both

i think variety is important. when i was renewing my domain with http://easydns.com i was just gonna pay with a credit card. luckily they take credit card orders OR one can pay through paypal. i had money in my paypal account so i used it that. i like paypal, it's easy. but the important thing is to offer a choice to you suctomer, if you can..

WARNING: Your Paypal account can be frozen at any time, without advance notice leaving you without your money for weeks (if not forever), and there isn't much you can do about it. Paypal is currently being investigated by regulatory authorities in three states!

We've used CCNow.com for the CC processing at superfantastico.com for a couple of years now and it's fairly cheap but not as cheap as PayPal.
Their cart (which they host) is kind of ugly though but it was a cheap way when we were first setting up our store to get CCs processed and have shipping calculated without a real upfront investment.
I do wish that PayPal would allow for straight gateway services as I think we would prefer to use them.
- JimCoudal0
Hi D, the PP cart system is ok but I think the only way to truly control everything and make the buyer's experience just exactly right is to roll your own system. There's plenty of details to cover but it's fun too. BTW: sorry to see this one's sold out. http://www.superfantastico.com/w…
- Davin0
But Jim, what about this one?
http://www.superfantastico.com/w…
Yeah, I'm toying with piecing together our own shopping cart since CCNow's cart is so damn ugly but there's always those nasty clients taking time away.
The Jewelboxing concept and execution is superb by-the-way.
- JimCoudal0
That's nice but not it's not as nice as the other one. I guess that's why it sold out.
