Does anyone know why my images turned all crazy at the end??

convert the jpg to a symbol and then set the alpha to 99% and it will fix it.

surely although a fix... a 99% alpha is particularly useful for keeping your interface speedy.. .especially on a mac, where you eed to squeeze as much speed as you can out of it...
Another annoying feature of macs is that a lot of people have text rendering, and it overrides nice bitmapped text, and thus slows everything down (or is there a way around this?)
Why are macs slower with flash, anyone know?

i've got a g5 and flash is still painfully slow for remoting. whyyyyyyyyy?!
it's nice and zippy for non remoting stuff though.

sorry I didn't get back to you yet (k-l) been busy moving house!
Anyway try the following:
Go to window > Net Connection Debugger
then test the movie... the NCDebugger should at least give you an indication of where it's having difficulty....
if you're still having problems send me a FLA and I'll try to find out more... testing remoting is a bit tricky here though due to paranoid security settings....

sorry I missed your bump!
basically I have one main fla that pulls in loads of external movies, all of which are pulling in data from cfcs.
just debuggered (heh, who named that?) one of the external files and I get a few coldfusion errors because there are parameters that need to be passed in from the container movies above it, but the guy i sit next to (on a pc) gets those errors too and his still compile nice and zippy?
does that make any sense?
