Believe it or not dispell underground and overground..
Jay-Z will rhyme about bling, drug dealing, bitches and his life
Public Enemy most of the time had conscious rhymes..
we rap about what we know..now in this perfect world hip hop that is...you want Jay-Z to get poltical...and Mos Def to have rhymes and skits about getting his dwyck licked and bling bling..and how he used to sell drugs think a bout it..

if anything, they're in knife to knife combat, rolling on the shag carpet while the room tilts to the gaping mouth of the Abyss....but, in reality, it's enslavement for MTV and hip hop culture....getting so far from Self that even a Yeti drives a Navigator

Wait...how does hip hop die again?
If those "mtv wankers" were capable of killing hip hop, then I wouldn't really care, because in that case, hip hop wouldn't worth my time.
But I'd like to think that hip hop is more than P Diddy and company. Don't let what you see on the Billboard charts trivialize one of the largest cultural movements in recent history. MTV and the artists on it can't touch hip hop, cause hip hop created them.
You can't kill hip hop. You can only forget what it was about. That's all that has happend. These 'wankers' just forgot. Simple.

I'm so sick of all the stereotypical, unoriginal NT Radiohead-loving d3sign3rs. Hip hop isn't half as dead as all of that pseudo rock.
Personally, I think hip-hop is evolving quite well at the moment.
And when was the golden age of hip-hop again?
