"Mac owners tend to think that they're the only ones with 'creative' machines... bullshit basically!... "

    a-fuckin-men

its only a tool, owningone doesnt make you a better designer. Mac designer make all their icons look like sweeties, and candy.

    shite if you ask me.

Ok..here is the situation. People don't make your XPs like OSX yet..most of the themes out there are not complete or are totally unsatisfactory for my personal taste. I'm well in contact with some people like Iceman, Xero, Kol about an upcoming OSX visual style that will be 100% like OSX Panther. I've seen skins for major applications already prepared and they look 1:1 with Panther.
If you really want to try it out this is my advice after almost three nights of no sleep and research:

Best themes (when I say this I mean most complete and very optimized so far) are:

    1. Iceman Jaguar themes
(I personally do not like the visuals but he has complete sounds, cursors and icons)

    2. Xero (this one is for Windows Blinds). In case of Windows Blinds, I personally recommend ONLY WB version 4.0. It's optimized and doesn't put strain on the system. Style XP still rules, but has some UI change limitations.

    3. Kols themes at Studio 28. They are all tight and work flawlessly.

    4. Kols iTunes 1.5 theme (brushed metal). This theme is somewhere known as iTunesA.

    5. AQUA PACK XP SP1 OSX Final 2. This one is risky but if you decide to apply it..it will make all of your system visuals like OSX except overall theme. I mean all the icons, control panels and everything will look like real OSX.
WARNING: This pack is somewhat unsecure. I personally installed it without any problems and I know others that did the same, however Jox tried to install it and his system crashed. Try this only if you have an XP Install CD close by and you should definitely backup some stuff. But believe me, it's worth it.

    6. Best software to use:
    - Y'z Dock for the OSX dock
    - StyleXP (notice that if you don't have money to buy StyleXP, there's a procedure to patch some file called UTX_ something. You can download it from http://www.tgtsoft.com)
    - Windows Blinds 4.0 (not free, but gives some extended skinning capabilities)
    - Aqua Pack (if you are afraid to use it you can use Y'z toolbar. It does the job, but completely and not that good)
    - As I said before WindowFX 2.12 or 2.x version (Download Genie effect from http://www.wincustomize.org under WindowFX section. It will give you that minimizing effect.)
WindowFX tip about Genie: To make it run smoother and faster make sure you change the 3rd or 4th line number in genie.ttt from 120 to 10 or 12.

    7. Do not install ObjectDock! This application will drain your system memory and CPU. It can give you the OSX finder type of taskbar, but it's simply not worth it, especially if you're like me, I actually prefer the XP taskbar and Start menu.

These tips arefar from perfect but it will get you closer to OSX on PC. I'll keep you posted. I'm still collecting real content for the upcoming OSX2PC site. So it's gonna take a bit more time for me to actually start building it (after all I have a business to run as well :)

I'd just like a more Linux based Windows 2000 with some style. And Tons of 3rd party saport... not a stinking skin...
