i think with every art movement there is a bit of garbage. there has been an art movement for a little while called "the pathetic" where the goal is to make painting or works that are endearing because of the pathetic nature. of course once an art movement is developed enough to matter, the genre widens and becomes less focused and not as well done.

I think graphic designers are obsessive control freaks who insist on forcing their warped world view on everyone around them.
At least the good ones are.And drawing bad rocks, as long as it's done well.... ;P

Those who draw bad on purpose are making fun of those who can't draw good on purpose.
They should get their hands cutted. Or be slapped silly.

it is very refreshing for me to see how people go back to 'basics' after all these years of polished graphics. i don't know if you know soDa, the designmag. many of the artists in there (yes, i call creative people artists) would be called bad or dilettants. equal if they draw or doing photographs. i think it's kind of a way to find the own identity. working with natural materials or realizing spontanous ideas free the mind.

Its not Drawing bad. Its Drawing with feeling. You ever seen some of the drawings the mentally Ill do ? Amazeing stuff.. Its like the sketeches you do when your on the phone.. crazy crazy thumb nail drawings.

its all perception, one man's picasso is another man's comic book illustrator. bad is and abstract concept...when something is bad, it's not just one technical aspect that makes it bad, its a whole slew of interrelated things responsible for it's pvert "gayness".
