Actually in the laws of food preparation set out by the FDA (US Gov.) certain amounts of bugs, bees or what have
you are allowed in the foods that we eat.It's no big deal. Do we live in a sterile society? I'm sure some would like to think so.
Who knows it might get the creative juices flowing if you swallowed something like that.

My girl spoke with the manager of the market this evening. We are getting a full refund for our pie [$2.50] and the district manager will get us some certificates or something to compensate.
The manager also told the story of another issue that happened in the bread baking department last week when a customer found a fly baked in the bread!
So...make sure to check everything you eat!

gosh I bet that is a really satisfying to know that you actually made a REAL difference in the food industry AND were fully compensated as well, you sure showed them, be sure to show us the certificates - what will they say " I SURVIVED THE INCREDIBLE BEE IN THE PIE INCIDENT"??
