personally, i would go back and notify the manager of the store and let them deal with the situation as they see fit.
you can make the choice not to go back there, but there are several other people that shop there that are totally unaware of this situation and had they known of it, would probably also choose not to go there.
i just can't accept the 'f-it' attitude in this situation. if the food industry were so lax, we'd all be dead by now.

A bee inside got inside a 20,000 square foot building and landed on pie. Maybe they could build pressurized chambers for the "pie technicians" to work in. They could wear those bio hazard suits and big rubber gloves. We could all go down to the grocery store on "Pie Day" and watch them work. It would be better than NASA.
Do you really think this is the first (or last time) something you didn't want landed in your food? That's a rhetorical question BTW....

Mr Pants - you are thinking, but not quite enough. There are no bees in space - why not move all pie making facilities into orbit thereby ensuring bee-free pies?

i once drank a dr.pepper and almost swallowed a part that came off of the asembly line. i called the distributer and bitched. it seems if you want to get more than a bunch of free soda (fat) then you have to die or suffer a "loss".
