Looks like Macromedia are trying to overcome the software copying world...

This stuff really pisses me off. I've bought every version of Macromedia stuff for years - they've seen a ton of money from me. Its not a problem because it pays for itself with clients... but - When people steal stuff, those of us who are honest have to deal with the concequences...
This online stuff is a pain - what if I get a new computer or need to re-install? Do I have to call tech support and waste a bunch of time explaining?
This stuff does no good - someone will have a crack for it before you can blink...

when will they learn, its software, it WILL be hacked! even dongles etc need software to seek the hardware, its the fatal flaw in software design

I learned flash on a cracked copy, I learned PS on a cracked copy, most software (incl. XP) I have ever learned was with a cracked copy. But as soon as I made some money out of it, I bought it. I have now licenses for most of the products and in the future I hope to obtain a maya or Max license, but for now I just cannot afford it. In my case, it is the only way to improve my skills, I cannot wait until I have the money to buy it.
This is why PS is so popular, it is very easy to crack, but still they make good money, because as soon as you (or a company) starts using it professionally they buy a license.
Some of my clients use cracked software and those are in some cases company's that make millions. That's terrible and they should be the ones that should be penalized, but not the kid that is using Flash for his schoolproject

if there wasn't cracks available, people wouldn't neccessarily use the s/ware due to availability..
it's in the best manufacturers interests to allow this as eventually it will increase their consumer base as people will buy eventually.

i would like to start learning the new flash as soon as i can, or just getting comfotable with it...anyone have a crack, send it my way...i'm not going to spend that much on a program and then have it suck...why can't they just leave it alone?
i remember buying a version of premiere...i was so happy because i finally had legit software...and the peice of shit never worked properly. fuckin adobe. from now on i get a crack first and try it out...i mean really.

There are these thing called DEMOS! Maybe you've heard of them? I'm not clean, I learned PS on a cracked copy, but like others, the minute I started making money off it I bought it.
Now however, I try it first through demo versions.

when i start makin the money i promise you all that my software will be legit. =) you know what most places that i've worked at said "hey, do you have flash, or photoshop?"
only one place actually got licenses for their software and they went broke. =)
it will always happen. but i love you all anyhow.

yeah, there is actually truth to this... also, crackers love a challenge, so the bigger obstacle discreet, MS, adobe, or macromedia put up, the harder and faster the crackers will race to be the first to 'conquer' them.
it's the same as them saying "oh, look here kids, i bet you can't solve this puzzle!"
