I learned flash on a cracked copy, I learned PS on a cracked copy, most software (incl. XP) I have ever learned was with a cracked copy. But as soon as I made some money out of it, I bought it. I have now licenses for most of the products and in the future I hope to obtain a maya or Max license, but for now I just cannot afford it. In my case, it is the only way to improve my skills, I cannot wait until I have the money to buy it.
This is why PS is so popular, it is very easy to crack, but still they make good money, because as soon as you (or a company) starts using it professionally they buy a license.
Some of my clients use cracked software and those are in some cases company's that make millions. That's terrible and they should be the ones that should be penalized, but not the kid that is using Flash for his schoolproject
