usually all file extensions are abbreviations of the file type.. like psd for example (photoshop document).

excellent .. i was asking because I have just started in at a new firm, and the operations manager is constantly calling it a FLUUUUH (did you mail me the fluuuh, did you save the latest fluuuh) .. and its a pain in my ass.
But then i thought about how often i have actually said eff-ell-ay out loud to people .. and its pretty rare .. so i thought maybe i was the goofy bastard. good to see i'm not.

.wav = waveand pay close attemtion to this one.
a .png file is NOT a "P-N-G file". it is a "Ping file".i get irritated by the guys who did the website for my old job. they always called them a p-n-g and i wanted to bitch slap them. . . i have a lot of pent up hostility. =)

Effelay - like a word, but not. Ess double yoo eff, on the other hand, is more pronounced. It's that W. And I refuse to call them "swiffs".
