when we opened our studio, we got 6 of them and have never once regreted spending that money on good chairs. You can pick them up for 400(crappy) to 550 (almost new) on craiglist.

Yeah, they are but they'll last a lifetime. You can replace each individual part in case something does break. But they're made to last. The mesh is great because there isn't a surface to absorb anything and it's nice and cool.
I paid $725 for mine, new. I never questioned the decision and after back pains, that's dirt cheap.Now if only they could make a better 3d navigation device to save my wrist...

the best part is the mesh that lets air flow away from your anus after a bad taco night. none of the fart stays stuck with you. it just wafts away.......

I don't care how much they are - when I move to Denver it's the first thing on my list to get - even if it means I can't get a bed! Will look so sweet with my new IKEA workstation....you can't put a price on good comfort/back support.....

a guy i was working with's girlfriend is an interior designer and had an oppurtunity to get aeron's for $200 as a promotion for designers. i passed up the oppurtunity like a total moron, they sold out in a few hours. i should have got one then, there is no way i'm paying full price for one.

Aeron is so 1995. Get the Mirra. Same manufacturer, better engineering, cheaper cost.
