Hey, easy now with critisizing the comic book, it's one of my favorites (er, rather was, I haven't bought one in 18 years, but I still have all my DD - including the ones that the movie was about). The story line was far more interesting than any of the typical ones, imho.
Also, I am not sure the problem anyone had with Elektra. She was the only character that was similar to the comic book. The rest they just missed the boat. Afflect was not horrible, but because it was him it was hard to look past (unlike Spiderman or the Hulk, where most really aren't/weren't familiar with them)
It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Iconlove, I likd those movies as well. I was refering to:
The later batman sequels
The Punisher (Dolf Lungren?)
Conan (the 2nd movie)
Captain America (70's)
and so on...well atleast they are remaking The Punisher. and I believe a new conan is in the works....except I've heard they are going to screw it up with that stupid scorpion king loser.

At what point and how did DareDevil learn Martial Arts?
I missed this in the movie. Seems like he had his accident and then BAM.. he's f'ing Bruce Lee.

Yeah, they missed a few crucial parts.
DD learned how to 'control' his hyper senses and learn martial arts from a bunch of monks (I think they were monks - definitely not some Catholic Priest like this movie) and spent much of his early life with them.
The monks/ninja gang play a huge part in the development of the story. That's who resurects Elektra (here comes the sequel), rebuilds Bullseye (notice he didn't die). In the comic, he dreams of Elektra coming back to life, but to my knowledge he never really finds her.
It's too bad they skipped the whole 'big picture' and played it off like some street kid that taught himself to fight - blind, no less.
That, and DD never killed people. He was a good guy.

Oh nice. That movie was beyond bad. If the hidden features aren't scenes of the cast and crew being beaten with shovels, then it's not worth watching.

monica bellucci should be elektra and they shouldn't have changed her costume!!@## (yes even that matters).
(i haven't seen the movie yet. maybe when its on basic cable hahahahaha).
