what did everyone think of the movie and the special features on the second disk?

I thought this was one of the worst movies ever. I saw it on an airplane and it put me to sleep, and being 6'4", I can never ever fall asleep on planes so that movie was powerful bad to be able to do that to me.
Terrible casting and absolutely no story.

I didn't the movie was all that great, but I really did enjoy the interviews with all the artist and writers of the comic.

watched it in the theaters. it was a nice reminder of why i hated Ben Affleck in the first place.

ya, i had a long discussion about that with some of my friends, I think that choosing him to be daredevil was lame.
The sad thing is, they made it so that you know there is going to be a sequal to it.

especially at the fight scene between daredevil and the girl in the playground.

I think it sucks that they declawed Elektra so the average joe could masturbate thinking about her safely. "Look I've just truned 18! You can have me now!" They should've just called her another name.

i HATED daredevil, but what i think sucks most is that kingpin can't be in a spiderman movie because of some legal mumbo jumbo.

Affleck aside, I think the movie stayed pretty true to the original comic storyline, and had a lot of visual pointers, scenes litteraly lifted from the comic. So in that sense i enjoyed it. The interviews with Lee, Colan, Miller, Romita, etc,.. were very interesting - especially Romita Jr demystifing the great art of comics ("i call my style the deadline style").
And of course there's gonna be a sequel... what were you expecting ;)
it would be cool if they'd adapt Born Again or Elekra lives again...

I disagree with that, the first two batman movies were made pretty well, and the spiderman movie was corny but still made well, and I enjoyed the x-men movies too.
I mean you have to give the movies credit that it follows along with the comic for the most part, but when they make it into a movie they are trying to capture the comicbook fans and an audience that has never heard of it before.
daredevil wasn't the greatest movie, alot of pointless scenes, but its try to captivate everyone.
I still think its a crappy movie,but I give it credit where its due.

Just because the nameplaye isn't as recognizeable as the Hulk or Superman doesn't mean it wasn't a good story to attempt to do a film about. Daredevil has some great storylines and should've been one of the easiest Marvel properties to pull off.
