Rap is a bag of shit really.. I wouldnt go pay money to watch some white trash tosser talking about any old shit that rhymes with the next word, over a prerecorded tape cassete with some dog spinn'in a vinyl like he means it.

Iconlove said it best. Everything in all genres of music is so commercial now, you have to dig so deep to find any quality. there isn't a decent FM commercial radio station on the planet. Even the college stations are getting weak.
Internet radio is a breath of fresh air.
I love rock from Chuck Berry to some of today's bands. I was never much of a rap fan because of all the horrible cliches. I can hardly stand to look at pictures of these guys with no talent and wearing the gold chains, requisite Rocawear, etc. However, I love the Beasties, Eminem has some real passion, Bizmarkie, Humpty Hump.

Beastie Boys Rocked but Enimen is a joke, a publicity stunt pulled off by Dr Dre to make more label more comercial. Now 50 cents is on the scene, end of the day you wouldnt go near that record if it didnt have the bonding with m&m's.
