isn't there a 10am - 5pm coverage on Eurosport too?
here in Holland the whole day live on public broadcast.

Great Live coverage here in the US on OLN tv.
Jan just beat Lance.
Lance explained his time trail loss to Jan as dehydration. He says he lost 10% of his body weight yesterday. He is getting better and he's not worried about the rest of the race. I think he can do it, but this is definitly the best tour I have seen.
And this sport is NOTHING like Formula 1.

Le tour was in my city, i dont have saw it, too many people, weather too hot, circulation was stopped in the city... I've prefered drink a beer in a park with a friend ;-)
But it was cool for the animation.
My story isnt interesting ? sorry lol
My father saw "le tour"
See you

had the 'dilemma' of watching the British F1 grand prix or Le Tour...
notice the contrast between 300+kmh (dunno what that is in mph) and dudes on cycles going up hill for 3 hours..

So which did you like better?
I was into auto racing for a while but it was the same thing every week. The stratgey was okay but almost always the same result.
I prefer cycling because you are the machine and it's man vs. man.
I enjoy it more as a spectator. if I had the choice though, i'd rather drive a race car then ride up the Alps anyday.

liked Le Tour better, but the Scottish geezer running onto the track while they were racing was pretty crazy...
what was his story anyway?

"The man, an unidentified 47-year-old Frenchman, told police he was protesting his dismissal for health reasons by Mercedes-Benz after 20 years of service. The track filed trespassing charges against the Frenchman."

The French bloke was at a different race - German GP, Hockenheim 2000.

<-----------Lance Armstrong
Yah, look at that. When the stakes are getting close you blow people away.

besides wondering why fat german tourists enjoy getting in the way of the race, what's that red flag with the white and green crossed stripes? I'm an uneducated (errr ... non-tribalistic) American.
Memo to euros - GET OUT OF THE WAY!
and go take a shower.

I've been watching the live coverage on Eurosport. Pretty exaciting stuff. That one guy braking some bones doing 70 downhill. Lance being actually forced to compete. Fun to watch. I have also almost forgotten about the whole doping scandal they had last year.

It really helps your cause, I guess, to wave your flag in front of the guy who's been bicycling for a hundred miles.
I can smell that crowd right thru the tv.
I have a friend who lives in a little village in the Alps. He is convinced, that people from his village are better (taller, stronger, smarter, better looking) than the next village. which is identical, practically, to his. Ahhh, the ECU's got a great future. Anyone remember Yugoslavia circa 1990?

for the record, I truly hope Lance wins the tour. His an example to athletes in general...

dancing with his cross-bar and interacting with the crowd.what a rider!!
