Anyone listen to their new album "Strays" yet? They definitely sound Amazing still!
Getting rid of Dave Navarro was the worst thing the Red Hot Chili Peppers ever did, they suck now with their old guitarist, blaaaa.

np nosaj, i had to dig those up after all this jane's reunion going about. eric i think is a very underated songwriter, even lyricist. if u can get over his voice. even does a Wire cover!!!! i am smitten

Yeh i was at the 1st Lalapaloza with Ice T and Jane's...
Wonderful stuff. Eric A. was/is a great bassist... but having the KING Dave N. back in full effect is Awesome!
I went to all the Enit festivals aswell and the one up in Big Bear was FUCKING great... Steve and Perry both came down into the crowd (very small) and Perry was telling everyone that he was on 10 tabs and then he walked away with like 3 girls into the trees... PIMP!
Steve hung out around a bonfire that had pixies dancing all around it and playing bongos with some other cats singing... Very crazy but once in a life time event.
The Enit festival in S.F was nothing compared to that of Big Bear Mnt. Then again it had the last living people from Ken Cassey's bunch telling stories in a room up stairs so that was a Once in a Lifetime event too.

I concur. The depature of E.Avery ended JA forever. Its now just Farrell's plaything. Eric's recently been backing up Alanis Morissette with a coupla hard rocking band mates. Good for him! (and her) and us and music in general.

The new Jane's is outstanding. The old fire is still there.
There was a comment about the Chilis missing Navarro. I don't think you can blame their old guitarist for their current state of total dissappointment. Those songs are so damn dull Jimi Hendrix couldn't save them. What happened to those guys?
