well Im printing out all my fonts now just in case they stop making photoshop etc... Im going to use my fax machine to put shit together...thats the real hot shit any way

Back to the original topic: Adobe Premiere. That was the only program the Adobe didn't make well. The only reason I ever used it was to capture video from my camcorder. All those linear editing packages blow in my opinion. I use After Effects and am fine. I'll use iMovie to capture now.
As far as Adobe not developing for the Mac anymore, that would be lopping off most of their customers for no reason. It's NOT going to happen. So, forget it.
As far as switching to non-computer media for graphic design...you have to be kidding. I don't go back that far, but what would you people do without Command Z? Did you ever drop something and think of Command Z? and then, didn't you think, wouldn't that be great? Would you really enjoy paste up? How about press type? How about white out, spray mount, film, loupes? Ahhh!! I'm getting sick.

Ever used a press? Ever been in a type shop? Ever drawn letters by hand, tried to make them perfect?..
you'll learn more about design and typography doing those things than you ever will on the computer.
