are you fuckin serious?!? wait a minute... that's going to far. that's just bad web design to try to go to that length to make shit work! I'll bet that design was approved by everybody in the food chain before it got to the programmer's desk... ha ha ha.
PS. yeah newstoday grey
- paulrand0
is this a whole new redesign after the recent Hillman Curtis one?
- TRNSMTR10
rob i think the one you are refering to is the sapient design. does anyone know who did this one???
- Anetalaya0
thwey really didn't do any big redisign, just a few changes here and there. I honestly liked the previous one, It wasn't great but looked better, don't know if with the things they moved on this one the improved the navigation.... but it looks boring.
- Anetalaya0
and if you are gonig to change the face to the site, change everything, there are some pages that still have the old design....

the new site sucks ass. the drop down menus are all fucked up... shaky at best and at worst they blank out the page. what dumb asses.

Adobe does not get the web. They never have.

soooooooooooooooooo
sllllooooooooooooooooowww
sooooooooooooooo
duuuuuuuuulll
You would think the site would dance like lightning, being so basic, and frill-less. But it's not, and never has been.

who the hell designed this fiasco?! are you on NT?!? show your self!

beautiful irony at work here:
Maker of the world's most popular graphics software redesigns website and it is boring, boring un-creative crap.

I don't necessarily want to see some wowser yowser graphics especially on a site as important as adobe. I want to see supreme compatibility, usability and functional, smart, clean navigation... this site fails in a couple of those areas...
- unknown0
I know what you mean, but it could have been more than grey...and lame...
- unknown0
Excellent site. Much more functional than the previous one. They redesigned it to give more space to new things that are about to happen in Adobe strategy. The problem that I have though with the whole Cool Edit thing is...hmm..let me put it this way:
Adobe Imaging + Adobe Sound + Adobe LiveMotion?
boys, we already have that it's called Macromedia. A bit late?
- sexypixel0
thats one ugly site
- ********0
a wild guess but I would think that by cutting up the get reader gif, they are trying to discourage grabbing that image for use on other sites for some reason...
or it's some bullshit automated html page creator.
- sexypixel0
it slows the page load dramatically, and theres heaps of scripts out there that will stop people from stealing your bandwidth by linking images
I think that they did it to get that stupid animation look... refresh the page and watch the way it loads
- plamenski0
So, who did it? Who will be the first to find out?
- CyBrainX0
It's different? I would never have noticed.
