Another grey website.
They could have been a bit more creative. Don't you think?

I like...and I don't like...usability wise it's bang on...the design could have used a little spunk...

look up, mg33.
I don't hate it. people were bitching about the last redesign, this one is better.

Cool Edit pro's awesome - nice move ADobe.

I was kidding.

If you hadn't said it was new, I wouldn't have noticed. I would have simply noticed that it's crappy.

You know - its not great, but that's not what bugs me. Its Adobe's extremely S-L-O-W server.
Instead of a re-design - how about a hardware upgrade.

their css is messed up in mozilla 1.4...they need to learn the value of the "line-height" element.
all the text is smushed.
:)
i don't like the gradient at the top. other than that...it's a somewhat sensible redesign with a focus on usability.
i think the dropdown menu is a strike against usability though...
i would have used a flat, horizontal menu...but that's just my opinion.

I still like the one Sapient did the best. The one before was done by Hillman Curtis which was weak but this one is clearly the worst. Who did it?

it looks like poopoo on Safari.

Just curious - Does anyone know why the "Get Adobe Reader" and the "Create Adobe PDF Online" buttons are broken up into a bunch of tiny images? Just wondering.

More interestingly, who approved that design and how much they paid for it?
- Submerse0
autonoma, I noticed that yesterday too. I know certain companies used to do this to later examine which area of tile ads or buttons are the most commonly clicked... Not sure what good this might do adobe, who knows...

they were able to make drop down menus work on top of Flash! I heard this was impossible?

but non the less the menus are still pretty shaky on my MAC IE 5.1.6 OS9.2.2

This is a step back IMHO. This looks like something from 1990.
On my machine, the "Products" drop-down, upon rolling over it, turn the whole screen grey.
I liked one of the older designs, that was more grid based, about 3 designs ago, where they showcased a design firm, or indivual, once a week. I tried looking it up on http://www.archive.org, but their site seems to be not working right now.

yeah my screen turns grey too...
