PixelRanger can you recomment any type of suppliments that might help me increase my strength. I know protein is key, but would you be able to recommend other things. Knowing that you are a coach and all.

To tell you the truth the only thing I've ever tried is Creatine and I've had great results. For my affiliation for Natural Bodybuilding there is pretty much a ban on most suppliments other than the normal stuff like Amino Acids and general GNC type stuff. I'm in a lifelong natural federation so things are pretty strict. Basically it just comes down to working hard, a good bit of genetics and putting in the time over the long haul.
I'm also a believer that it depends on how physically active you were in sports as a kid in High School. If you did lots of weight lifting for sports, you have a greater ability to pick it up later and have more success. But its just mey theory on the matter.

I thought this would be some kind of smart-ass thread being that Carlos_23 started it, but maybe it was legit. I was a skinny kid and couldn't bench for shit, then I got heavy not ever doing anything and could hit a baseball, softball or golf ball pretty damn far and hard, probably benching around 210, 30 pounds more than I was at the time. Supposedly, you should at least be able to do reps at your weight. I got healthy, no beer, no carbs, while in Europe. Lost 30 pounds down to 152 now, there is no way I could do 210 again and would be lucky to get 170 in the air. I got lean and fit though, it was like Toby McGuire in Spiderman kinda' change in a summer, however, that hurt me to do. Plus: girls like it; Minus: guys like it. :) - :(
