I think you should completely assume his identity.
Become the old man. Think his thoughts. See what he would see. Live his life to the fullest.
Wake up at 4:30 in the morning and read the paper in your tighty whities on the porch. Complain about chronic back pain. Don't show up to work. Move in with his son and daughter in-law. Adopt his grandchildren. Drive at 25 mph on the freeway. And get a pair of those really sweet space goggles that fit over your prescription spectacles.
Be the old man.

hey Gorbie, did you see that thread for Sac people to meet up?
- Gorbie0
Are you telling me I should get out more often?
Damn, you could be a little more subtle, mayo.

you haven't taken your meds this morning, have you Gorbie?

I can't believe none of you figured this out. The old man tried on pants at the store and left his there with the wallet or was trying pants on at the time. 74 doesn't mean probably dead, probably forgetful maybe. Get the wallet back to him ASAP. Tribute idea? Put up a sentence as a splash page leaving the last word out ala Match Game 77. The visitor gets to fill in the last word via a form. The sentence should read like this. "I lifted a poor old guy's wallet at a second hand clothes store and don't know what to do because I'm a __________."
And see what happens.catch you kids later

why do I feel like shit right now?
- mayo0
oh bizzy....was it something you ate?
Just kidding. we all do little things [like lifting wallets] without realizing what we are doing. Don't feel bad. Seriously, you didn't do it with bad intentions and you fully plan on returning the wallet. it really was an accident.

... I was intrigued...
... dirty old pants w/a wallet still in the back pocket.... who wouldn't take it to see what was in it? right?
... and how could I trust the two 16 yr. old skater/goth/raver/ anime addict girls up front to get this back to the family?
- Biofreak0
i wouldve taken it too.
just out of curiosity.
i think it would be a natural reaction for most people. because you really cant trust some disgruntled store employee to do the right thing.the only thing you should feel bad about is beating and ass raping the old man. k0na was right... that really was uncalled for.
oh and...
DRINK!
- abizzyman0
*sigh
fine... the ass-raping was accidental...
... but he asked me to beat him.
... the ass-raping was a secondary reaction.
OKAY!
