I wish people wouldnt post rips until they have contacted, and discused it with the person whos ripped. It would be the grown up thing to do and would save alot of heartache and would keep kpl from being sick all over himself all the time

TONS of shit i've done as well as stuff for my company has been ripped off - sorry but, i think its hilarious -
one time we went to email someone who had ripped our site - and they only changed the graphic in the email contact button - not the html so the email came to us AHAHA
and one last thing - if u really cant handle it if someone steals your stuff - THEN DONT PUT IT OUT THERE!!!

taragee, you have to be kidding. just because im an artist and i love working in my medium doesnt mean i have to like someone stealing it.
i do what i do because i love it.. but it doesnt have to sit well with me if someone steals it.
i feel for anyone who gets their work stolen, its terrible. people who steal should get whats coming to them. period.
lets say you work hard to buy a house and decorate it all up and then someone comes along and says "that looks cool" and takes what they please when your enot looking and splits? i cant speak for anyone else but, i feel the same way about my work as i do anything else. if anything my work is more important to me than anything i own.
things might be different for you.. but thats how i feel. if anyone rips me off they might get more than a few harsh words. it sucks to see other artists get ripped and the theif gets nothing but a slap on the wrist.
i still cant believe anyone feels sorry for her. you shouldnt. she asked for it publicly and she got it.

i dont feel sorry for her - i'm saying - if i was aqua i would have 1st said yo u bit my site, take it down by end of day - THEN - if she didnt - call in backup - but most normal people just take it down... (esp if u put on lawyer oice - trust me ;)
and stealing physical things from my house isnt the same as copying an image or code... if you steal a cd of mine - its not the same thing as if you copy a cd...
i love to create too - and when im done - im done - on to the next thing - if someone steals it -whatever - i know i really did it...

Thats just silly! If someone went in to your house looked at all your stuff then made exact duplicates of them and put them in to their house then wheres the harm?
I agree with taragee, but I can understand that not everyone feels that way, we have to remeber though that the internet is a different medium to all others before it. Things can be duplicated nfiniantly and effortlessly so old ideas of property have to be re-thought. This isn't like going into someones house and stealing their shit, not even close.
But i'm being far too democratic here. As long as you can dish it out I hope you can take it. That site was shithouse in the firstplace, there was nothing about it that was particularly new or refreshing or even attractive. You should be honoured that someone deemed it good enough to copy and paste, if i was going to rip something off i'd at least make it something that was gfood in the firstplace.

theres no need for that kind of abuse, no one deserves it. Its ok to be mad but name calling and slandering someone behind theyre back isnt very brave and resolves nothing.
Ripping is bad but it doesnt deserve the abuse she got, unless she refused to remove the stuff, but even then...
