My Gran has come into abit of cash Dita. And she wants to treat me and my girlfriend! And these are my all time fav places to go err... well apart from Tokyo, Australia, LA... But she can't afford too much so I fancy these two. Bless her. Treats her grandson well eh! haha Err... So thats the hot chicks out the window crab! Me girlfriend isn't into threesomes. ;-)

I live in NYC and have visited Barcelona. If I were you, I'd get the heck out of the States and hit up Barcelona. The nightlife starts at midnight, the architecture is fairy tale-esque (thank you Gaudi), the Olympic Complex is just cool, and then there is the Sangria! Barcelona was one of my favorite cities in Europe. there is plenty to do and the price is right. NYC is a rip off in comparison.

Been to both.
My vote goes for Barcelona as well. Even if you're with your girlfriend, you can still watch.
I thought NY was a freak show, but the ramblas are the best for people/freak watching.
As far as the crime goes, it wasn't so bad in my experience. I kept hearing all of these horror stories, but I didn't see anything. Rome on the other hand was much worse as far as pick pockets. If you're like 50 years old and you look like a dumb american tourist with a hawaiian shirt and your camera hanging out, maybe you should worry. Otherwise don't. Just stay away from crowds of gypsies.Drink sangria, look at the architecture, look at the chicks, go to the museums, ride the nice air conditioned subway.
