if this site is "inspired" then anyone could "design".
a person could go to borders and learn dreamweaver/flash from a book. then become "inspired" by a site and magically become a web designer.

where are your morals? are you all 6 years old?
the sites look almost identical, just becasue there is no graphics or files actually stolen does not warrant this as a stolen site, it warrants it as a rip.
Look at it this way:
If the FI site never existed, the Celcius one wouldnt look like it does now.
So the question is if this is over inspired or not? IMHO this is over inspired and should be removed, a "real" designer who gets paid would not even think of working this way.

another problem i have with calling rip on this is that your drawing a comparison on a color scheme and a layout...
i'm sorry, but using these guidlines to determine a rip is leaves just too much open for question. where do you draw the line? the digital medium makes it very easy to borrow a style, so if you work in it, expect no less. if you are ripped and it bothers you, exercise your rights and take the company/individual in question to court.
and gabe, i'm not clear on your stance... are you calling rip or not here?

I would bet you are unemployed and spend your time on your masterpiece which is basically a rip fo the 2a site and you try and get involved in every rip thread, defend the rip to try and someday justify your own work. You are going no where my friend and you yourself know it all too well.

really. why is this industry widely frowned upon by more traditional designers, and is often considered incredibly immature?
why is there a staggering number of truly talented people in this industry who are treated as if they are indispensable and easily replaceable?
because of incredibly ignorant people found in threads like these.
