NB: I've never met (you) Konspiracy, so please remember, this is purely my reaction to the 'publicity' you've received and instigated from the last couple of years.
Nothing wrong with promoting your own work - just gets to me that the folk who are better than you (and I), who I'd like to see promoting quality and original design in Scotland, don't get, or push for, the coverage they deserve for their "hard work".
"work hard at it so why not promote it." There's 'self promotion' and 'self-indulgence'.

haha, take the crit and learn from it. Promoting yourself in front of your peers makes you come off like an egomaniac. You won't find work here, why would we send work your way when we can do it ourselves. I have not really noticed your self-promotion but just find posting links to your own shit pretty stupid. Take the humble approach and let the work find its own links. If its good and people are paying attention it will get positive feedback. And people, stop fighting. Remember this. Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, at the end of the day, your still retarted.

naw, i just wanted to add...
i see where you're coming from about talented people not getting the promotion or push they deserve etc. but it's not as if there isnt the opportunity for these people to promote their work.
so if they dont do it themselves - then, more fool them.in my defence over photos of me on the site ... bit egotistical i guess lol (and i have had some stick for it) ...but the new site is more about my music/mixes than design now. and what band/dj site doesnt have photos of them on it - challenge you to find one! ;)
