I gotta gripe,
the person (an NT member) it is against will remain anonymous unless they actually reply to this thread then I'll disclose their ID.
My workmates think I've found my 'nemesis' in this fellow UK designer but I just see it as a plain old personality clash.
He's someone who posts here a lot, always his own stuff, or sites that in some way benefit him or his image or give hiim a chance to mention himself in his link to them.
He is confident to the point of being an egomaniac, publicises his work at every opportunity and absolutely believes his own hype.
My main annoyance is that his work is totally average, if that, but due to his blinkered belief in himself and unwavering self publicity, he shouts about it and flaunts it as if he's fuc*in' hi-res or some sh*t. aaaaarrrrgh, sorry, just thinking about his utter blindless and misplaced self-belief makes me cringe and mad!
I'm not normally a total bitch, but this guy really does it to me.
I'l liken hiim to a 30-something overweight woman, no oil painting, wearing a belly-revealing top, thinking she's all that because she thinks the staring's coming from admirers, not disgust.
