beginners and posers are 2 different things, so i hope youre posts arent directed at me lifeinsodium... i agree with what youve said.
- lifeinsodium0
yes, please do say hello. and also tell him that i said that he needs to breathe, keep breathing, don't lose your nerve. Breathe, keep breathing, I can't do this alone. Sing us a song,
a song to keep us warm, there's such a chill, such a chill.ok, whatever.

ummm...you didnt really read what I wrote in your blind fury. What Iam saying is that the stuff you are crying about is small its, such a waste of energy. Ive had boat loads of issues with clients and still do..but someone thinking they are an expert doesnt piss me off. Let their piss poor work show otherwise, bitching only makes you sound like a hater or newbie...the one thing he did right was get the work...thats all that counts in "business" my not be right but its true

i think you are all posers and should bow down and worship my mighty mighty d3zYne 5k1775.
YEA!
or you could just laugh at my silly jokes and call me names... like you always do.

We need a union, that with certain "time in the feild" and skills &ability aptitude tests contribute to rank and elevation, filtering the quality jobs to those deserved, and the crap jobs to the remedials. I know its far fetched but wishful thinking.

i screwed up my fair share of code when i was learning.
but i never posed.
well, then again...

I don't understand why you are fixing the freelancers code?
Please explain.
- JazX0

I've come across a few of these in my jobs... do your best to let it roll off you, focus on making good stuff yourself and the other person will get what they deserve down the track. You gotta work with them so just know you're better and relax, njoy your day, and they'll be "found out" eventually.

do keep in mind that there is no such thing as kharma.

k.... after a brief absence from NT, i'm back... with a mutha - fecking vengence.
so let me get this straight. first your "client" as we'll call them hires another "designer" to change a site. then the little prick calls YOU and asks you to post it live. THEN your boss says "O.K." like a dip shit having you spend YOUR time, i.e. his money updating this pricks site.
here's the plan... a-team style. really piss up his code. misspell shirt to say shit and as to say ass, buck to say f.... you get the picture. then only update half of the site. wait 2 hours then take the whole site down again. then wait a day and put up the other half.
oh, and for a finishing touch send 2 rabid chinchillas into your bosses office to chew what's left of his nuts... assuming he has any to begin with.
done.

I am fixing the code because my boss has told me to do so.
The client is a well-known, high-profile, company in the stock market and i guess my boss feels that we can't afford to say anything to jeopardize losing there business.
I dunno if I am being pompous but I feel like we should tell them like it is and explain why his code sucks and we have to change so much crap.

Dr. k0na has some good advice.
