I thought no one was going to mention Ennio Morricone, writer of several exceptional film scores. Also the Jaws soundtrack if you're talking about music adding an extra dimension to a film.

and i think goodfellas was alright as well, that layla cover version is ace.

hey dita, you got nico singing 'these days', you got bob dylan doing wigwam, the clash with 'police and thieves', some nick drake and some ramones. van morrison, the velvet underground and the rolling stones. it's all old stuff but quality. plus some little interludy bits which are nice as well.

yeah. i bought the dvd 'criterion collection' (or something like that) and the packaging was brilliant. with lovely illustrations and stuff.
an idea: there should be an audio jukebox on the DVD so you can play the soundtrack as well as watch the film. why don't they do that eh?
