Janeane Garofalo pisses me off, that's probably the only thing I like about her.
She's got no more voice than any of us (humans). But because she's a familiar face she gets air time on behalf of controversial media pigs on a ratings feeding frenzy.
Let some other controversial view point need a platform and I'm sure we'll see her on the parade float. More power to her.
It's hard not to think of her a media whore, taking advantage of a situation. Yeah, call it name calling. But in all fairness, I probably wouldn't have the balls to do the same thing if I were her.
Or maybe I would just simply practice being an American in another way; like using my fame to air this thread on IFC, or better yet, Comedy Central.
