can they get sued for that?
- digifad0
no I can't get sued. unless I go off using your credit info (which there is none of that in the short log). I am not using the information. This was a very temporary test. I ran across a site that mentioned something about it, and a friend of mine and I wanted to know if it was true. I apologize for scaring anyone or upsetting anyone. It was only a test of scripting. Please accept this as an apology. Best wishes to all.

PS - it has been removed. sorry, again!
- jevad0
what site was it that mentioned it?
- safe0
Your going to hell.
- slip0
seems like you might've over-reacted by popping this shit all over the internet? seems like you could've emailed first and waited for a reply.
- digifad0
eh. It's ok. I understand the concern. My mistake. So I pay with the results.
- vena0
slip: any person with an iota of security concern would consider that script exploitive. it's great that you took it off, digifad, but i really don't buy that you put it up so innocently.

I'll sue you man
- john0
'She can sue meeee. Sue me! Sue me! Sue me!'
- piperboytoy0
yay, then I don't care!
- digifad0
Unfortunately, you won't get much. Gov't pay isn't that kind.
- kpl0
dig, you're a weasel. you got caught and now you're trying to pawn it as an innocent mistake. whatever.
- jevad0
i still want to know what website it was where they were talking about it....
- digifad0
no. I'm posting what happened. I think I'm allowed to defend myself in such a topic. Saying I'm oh so horrible for this because I was trying to get your credit info or your best friends deepest secrets is incorrect. It was not meant in harm. as mentioned elsewhere: It's been removed. I've said my peace. no harm intended. sorry everyone.

"I ran across a site that mentioned something about it, and a friend of mine and I wanted to know if it was true."
this rings hollow. so instead of setting the script on a page that no one else would know about and testing it with your own compuer, you turn your visitors into guinea pigs? quit defending yourself, you're making yourself look like a complete idiot or a liar.
besides, for the folks who visited your site, all they have is your word you won't use this info. what is that worth right now?
and sorry, no breaks for you. this is serious shit.

I'm glad Vena got right on this... I'll put digifad right on the same list as featureprice.com
- ********0
featureprice.com sucks BTW
- ********0
