Please dont ban me for this
I have been seeing this girl for a little over a year. Things where lovely.
I got busy in November though, and I wasnt spending as much time with her as I should have been. She would come over and I would just keep working and working, as if she wasnt there.
Then at bd4d Atlanta I was drinking and talking to other designers, and she came up and said she wanted to leave. So I then proceeded to walk her to the train stop, at 10 pm, and I dropped her off and went back to the event. She sat there, alone, for 2 hours...
I am a dick. This has pissed her off (of course it did) and she went on a date with this other guy. She says she likes him - he shows her attention.
People, I messed up and I know I messed up. How do I fix it?

Dude, I'd do something above and beyond what's ordinary -- if you really love her. Be clever... show her more attention in one act than you've ever showed her.
Just make sure that you love her... that you want her in your life before doing this.

... Kote appears to feel that he's screwed up here... I find if that is the feeling - then he probably did. (I trust that sort of intuition... especially when peoples emotions are involved).

mostly i started to think like a girl. before i do anything or say, i think, would this piss her off? or if she is pissed off would just let it go later? or hold it in till a REAL fight comes up? or would she get back at me by doing the same? or should i just do it to piss her off? or how can i get away by doing it?
i always think, making her thinking that she has control works best.
let her think she controls you but in reality, you are pursuading her to think what yuo want to do. when you want to do something, think ahead, plant the seed and make things work.
its all about planning.

I'm still in love with a girl. Unfortunetly... I screwed up on a much larger level that I can't even begin to discuss... cuz it would elevate this conversation to a religious level.
But, I've lost her contact for the time being. It's funny, because I thought it would be all better in about 6 - 7 months. It's only been two months now since I've seen her....
... out of nowhere... last night, while I was walking through a local 'art-walk'... there she was...
... hand in hand w/her ex... the guy who up and left her after two years.
I understand the heartache... and remorse for not doing things the right way. I'm so in love with her right now.
