1) Am I seeing things or the "S" and the "C" are smaller than the "B" and the "A"?
2) What about talking your client into lose the hand and use just a mic?

i tried to convience the client about a more simplistic look, i would never had sugguested such a thing. but he believes it is important item. the client is the boss. and i think i can work with it with a little help from the nice, nice people @ newstoday. lol.

I'll start using Arial as soon as I'm making something where it fits.
I'm so sick and tired of all these "Boohoo I hate Arial, Helvetica is the only choice" bitchers.

i think in the beginning of my conversation with the client i sugguested just a mic. and he wanted a hand holding a mic with a ring on the pinky finger. im like (too myself) ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Why the ring on the pinky finger?
This sounds like a good time to call your client and tell them how the real world is like. And why it's a stupid idea to put a lot of details in the logo.

but when i see certain things, i recoil in terror.a nice critique:
maybe make the hand and microphone a bit more loose. it feels very blocky and rigid right now.just dont use arial anymore.

the sketches i drew to get some ideas were okay but i knew trying to squeeze and push the hand and mic in would be trouble. like i said (and like your idea illustrates) just a mic or just type would be fine for "basic productions." but the client came with a vision.

Come on, quincyglenn, don't stop using Arial just because some guy on a fancy schmancy design site tells you it's not right. If you think it looks good, and if your clients and your audience think it looks good, why the hell shouldn't you use it?

long live arial um maybe unsure confusion sets into the brain. no i know where i stand and i think i am a pretty good designer and have the urge to learn new things. so it will be okay. so is verdana okay to use? :)
