That's cool that someone mentioned Shotmaker. I pulled out one of their records a few weeks ago (hadn't listened in years) and it's still good.
Avail, always great live.
I heard that Zack Against The Machine was going to do a rap album or something?

"apparently he recorded the album but thought it was too polished so he called in trent reznor to produce. i think he's been keeping a low profile to let audioslave release their shite and let the fuss die down.
he's collaborating with dj shadow, roni size, dan the automater, ?uestlove and maybe a few others. there's a few tracks he's appeared on in the last few years. he remixed outkast's BOB, contributed vocals with roni size, blackalicious, CIA and drummed on a bside to dj sahdow's private press."

yo cobradeath - Wouldn't you agree that Melbourne hardcore is having a resurgence? I reckon it's going really well - you seen any of the more underground aussie bands - places like the arthouse and so on?
parrently mindsnare have got another gig coming up soon - they are fuckin unreal.

The Dillinger Escape Plan are a band that if you haven't heard them, you need to.
If you get a chance or can find it, check out their "Calculating Infinity" cd, and their Mike Patton "Irony is a Dead Scene" LP.
wicked hardcore technicality with the drums and guitars. personally my favorite band.
