Hypothetically, I win. (or lose, I guess). I own my coop, but the super told me that the studios like mine in the building are going for more than $3000 per month. That's in New York of course.
But remember, you can also make a lot more money here too.

Philadelphia suburb... two bedroom / two bathroom apartment with 1100 sq. ft. runs me $860 a month. It sure beats the 500 sq. ft. one bedroom downtown apartment for $800 a month I was in last year. However, downtown living has it's advantages and it's "cool" points.
