The first error here is lumping "Christianity" in with "Religions".
True, Bible-based Christianity is not "religion". Email me... we'll discuss.

Note to self: must remember not to lump Christianity in with lesser religions in future.

Way to twist words there.

The bible is so bad the author refused to put his name on it.

It's a vibrant, radical and living relationship with a loving savior...
...not cold, dead hypocritical religion.
It was the "religious" people that put Christ on the Cross.
Religion = mankinds' futile attempt to reach God through performance.
Chris follower = God reaching down with a relentless love and offering eternal life through his Son... as a gift.

Pro Choice, all the way.
So who's keeping count?
I guess the more interesting question is how many designers are anti-abortion/Christians?
How many are pro Bush?

you lot have the collective IQ of dumpster juice.
all humans do on the matter of their own collective mortality and their so-called ''self-importance'' in the universe.
these debates are un-readable.

frow: just some thought.... and i respect your opinions regardless of mine....
first: evolution is observable. its most basic process, natural selection, can be seen happening quite rapidly sometimes. if an animal has a certain mutation that makes it more adaptable to an environment, and survives in that environment when the other doesnt, and reproduces and passes down its mutation.
voila. evolution.
but i dont see any reason people shouldnt be able to combine that with their theories of creation or whatever... just that you cannot ignore that its happening.
now onto the debate about when a fetus is a 'human' or 'baby' or however conservative christians wish to put it. i'm just curious what you suggest is the importance of saying that the embryo has all of the genetic material? of course it does, we've known that for years. (yet you say 'scientists have confirmed this'). but does that mean it has feelings? that it feels pain? that it does anything except divide cellularly and absorb nutrients? for a significant portion of early pregnancy, this is only a lump of cells. not a baby.
and to clarify something... when you see those pictures of mutilated fetuses that conservative christians show in front of abortion clinics... ask them if they think thats how abortions are performed. nearly all of them say yes. that is partial birth abortion and is very rarely performed... only when the mothers life is in immediate danger or there is some other emergency. there are only a handful of those. period. i was almost punched by a 'christian' when i explained that to him.
