nyc.
you dont know the world until you come here.but, please, if you come here and you go for a walk, make sure youre looking straight ahead, stop bumping and steping on people, get out of the way cause we here need to get to work fast, we don have much time, and dont rent a car, our streets are too crowded.
stop looking to the sky, theres nothing there.(am i rude enough?)

texas is a cool stop. mix in an austin trip if you get a chance. its a beautiful place. there is more music than you care to hear, not to mention the people are way friendly. SXSW in march and the best BBQ ever.

the problem with texas is their damn superiority complex. They aren't the best state in the union, especially when california is.

If natural wonders are your thing, buy a book on US national parks or visit this site...
Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Momument Valley, etc.

one quick shout out: seattle is the most beautiful city in the nation by far...maybe portland is close, but seattle, especially when sunny, is incredibly beautiful... with two mountain ranges on the east and west, lots of trees and water, plenty of parklike settings within eyeshot of the city. even the skyscrapers look more interesting than your average skyscraper.
the only problem is that it only looks this good three months out of the year. right now the weather is damn and overcast and it inspires too many suicides.

Ahh, funny, you all know that America basically seriously started in New York and in Pennsylvania. Come on now. Texas and California are new territories as far as I the east is concerned. Tell me why the capital is in the East again?

But long live the Union. U-N-I-O-N, original 13 baby as in the 13 stripes on the flag.

This is refreshing, eh? So many places I'd like to see again...
NY is a place to see and experience, I'd personally never want to live there, but it is unique (compared to the European nations I've seen), and everything else is pretty sweet here in New England. But I'd still say the the NW is the most beautiful. Try to see the national parks and some of the cities, they are truly a monument to the nature's creation.
God I love this country!! (oh, side note, in case any one cared, I still dislike anything little Bush does or says).
Peace. And enjoy our landscape, it's here for you...

No it's true for sure the WEST, specifically the NW is the most beautiful place in USA in terms of terra, as is Canada for that matter. Culturally, I would have to go with the east though guys.

Bubba vs. Bushie in battle of The OK Corral. Who would win?
