Just wondering if anyone can tell me if it is possible to create hotspots on top of placed images in pages generated by templates.
And can you turn hotspots off?? in templates??
As well... I would like to know how to make my nav bar skinny. I'm using DW 4 & I just wondered if anyone can tell me where to get the script from?Cheers!

if the image is in your template, then there really isnt a whole lot you can do with it.
you could always break the template and then add your hotspots. or make a new template without using that image. then just add it in your page, draw some hotspots and youre done.
not sure about making the navbars skinny. http://www.w3schools.com might be a good place to start looking though.

on second thought, you might be able to place some kindof link on top of a template image using dhtml absolute positioning or something, but that is not something that i know a lot about.
im sure there are some tech guys who could give a much better answer on this.

what do you mean by make the nav bar "skinny"? You mean make the window chromless?

I want to add the image then add the hotspots.
The hotspots are in different places on different images in pages created using the same template. Or at least what I want it to be...
I thought using templates would make my life easier, but maybe I'm wrong!

hmm... usually id say using templates is a good idea, and i probably stil would in this case too. but it sounds like maybe you should exclude the images from your template. keep everything else in there, but leave the images as editable.
now i do stress that i could be wrong, but this is just from my experience. how many pages are using this template? because it is quite simple to use more than one template in a site.

5 pages for 1 template and 4 pages for a second, both very similar.
I just seem to be having huge problems with the damned hotspots...

right, well with only 9 pages, id say it would be safe to use a skeleton template and just add the images in each individual page.
i say this without knowing how many images you are talkin about, but i think this is the best advice i can give.
anyone else wanna take a crack?
