It's overrated... you cant get the same service at many hosts for less $$.
Just make sure they have a good admin panel.
Cpanel is just as good as MT'sIf you want to pay more for a slick control panel and put a MT logo on your site... it's definitely for you....
It about the same reason yuppies snatched up Polo shirts in the 80's.

It's all in the service! The customer is always the customer, and MT recognizes that, they just have top notch service! For some of us is just too expensive, at least for me!

you "think they have top notch service, i thought that too before i signed on with them. believe me, there is no value in their extra pricing, only a brandname. They had good service, but I have experienced far better service at smaller hosting companies.
And Chris, the slow connection when I was with MT was not an abberation, it was that way for the six months that my client had his site hosted there. As soon as I switched hosts it was like night and day. I'm not saying all of MT's hosted sites are slow, NT obviously isn't. But I suspect those on the cheaper plans ($30/mth) get somehow shafted on servers.
Btw, I do find it interesting that the ones who are most vehement to rush to MT's defense are those affiliated with sites that don't pay for their hosting.
Is it really so surprising that they treat different customers differently?
