MTV has been a huge dissappointment for 23 years. They always play it safe, pandering to the teens and mass market, ignoring anyone who might just have any musical taste beyond Britney and Madonna. I just wonder why there hasn't been any real competition in all this time.
Personally, I think they have done a lot to destroy the music industry. Since MTV, all the wrong things play a larger part than musical talent. Tits and ass, choreography, slo-mo explosions and those God-awful soap operas which they can't stop shoving down our throats.
I wish them the worst possible death.
