    My mom hears less and less clearly and refuses to wear earring aids she was prescribed and got for $$$$, having decided she doesn't need them.

    So instead, she gets mad at us for not speaking loud enough.

      Yeah my dad also caught the habit of saying "huh?" to ANYTHING said to him, so everything needs to be repeated.

    • Both my in-laws are deaf as logs which makes it so my wife and I can talk shit a mere 2-3 meters from them and they don't hear a thing :)PonyBoy
