Don't worry, Elections Canada is still 'finding votes' so they will ensure a Liberal majority by the end of today. Nothing to see here.
- Strange that cons never lose unless there's a vast conspiracy.i_monk
- Conservatives had their best result since 1988. Nobody is complaining about that.spot13
- There has never been a change to the projected outcome, which was a Liberal minority, but we will see tonight.everyangle
- Nearly the entire collapse of the NDP went to cons (by the numbers, not sure riding by riding).monNom
- see "The Political Shuffle": https://vancouversun…monNom
- Elections Canada has announced that they 'found more ballots' so these results are not final. New results are coming after 7pm ET.everyangle
- Link? I want to see the Elections official quote with "found more ballots".i_monk

- Still don't see it. Which elections official are you quoting?i_monk
- Seems a bit conspiratorial. Can they really just "find" votes like that?yuekit
- No. There are literally thousands of people counting ballots across the country, minding the registries, etc.i_monk
- They might still be counting. ~20m paper ballots takes a while. Voting night results are an estimate based on sampling I believe.monNom
- what happens if they can't find any votes?pango
- "Special ballots are cast by mail or at Elections Canada offices by voters who are away from their ridings during the election."prophetone
- I will be happy to be wrong in this assumption. They have added three seats this afternoon and have three to go. Hoping it doesn't happen.everyangle
- This literally happens every time, as everyone should expect, hosers need to stop frenching the maple koolaidprophetone
- ohhhhhh it's an assumption.
so you don't mean they're going to find some ballots that magically appeared.pango
