Huge props to the guy who smashed his Escalade into my parked (and empty) 2015 Subaru yesterday. He wrote an apologetic, sincere note with his phone number and called his insurance company to report the accident. One hour after the accident (my wife was in a meeting at her office and had no idea what happened), his insurer called me to tell me they had an appointment set up with a quality local body shop, and had arranged for a rental car to be waiting at the body shop for my wife to drive.
Kind of sad that I feel lucky that this person was doing the right thing, but here we are. Damages are exceeding $4k and we won't have to pay a dime.- Wow. Props to that guy and the insurance company. I didn't know anyone who was supposed to would choose to be that helpful.CyBrainX
- That's a rare human being... can't tell you how many dings / dents / gouges are in my still bank-owned vehicle after 3 years of usage :/PonyBoy
- A neighbor got his driver's side door crushed in in a parking lot a few weeks ago. No note. $4k+ in repairs.mg33
